We hope you’ll consider joining our team. **Position Summary:** The Associate Product Manager leads the development and execution of strategic plans for assigned product lines. The Associate Product Manager collaborates internally and externally to help drive profitable growth by actively managing Swagelok’s product offering, pricing and promotional strategy. Associate Product Managers support technology trend mapping to help determine product or service requirements desired by the customers to create and maintain a leading market position. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Supports the development of product vision statements, that incorporate customer, market, and competitive perspectives, as well as overall business strategy + Owns development of product segmentation and product family roadmaps for their respective product lines + Supports cross functional development of product strategy to achieve overall growth and profitability objectives + Owns development and administration of product portfolios of current and future needs for their respective product lines + Supports establishment of growth and profitability metrics for product line + Supports product line assessment process by compiling customer feedback and financial information + Monitors competitive product line and technology trends within target market segments and applications. (product/price/place/promotion) + Gathers market insights on competition through internal testing, and external literature, pricing, & social media reviews to develop value proposition statements for our product lines + Executes product management processes to gather and document customer, channel, and business insights used to establish product strategies. + Assists in development and delivery of user insight reports for Product Line Managers. + Works with organization to develop cost models, research projects and data set development building views of product cost and capacity constraints + Supports efforts to improve KPIs + Supports marketing function for corporate projects + Product line support for sales and profitability analytics + Manages notification of change process + Owns price change initiatives for their respective product lines **Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:** Education: BS/BA in technical or business field. Experience: 3-5 years experience with various aspects of Swagelok (or similar company) such as product engineering, manufacturing, customer operations, and marketing. Field sales experience beneficial, but not required. Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent project management and planning ability. Above average ability to prioritize and focus efforts to achieve goals. Basic Microsoft Office Skills including MS Project. **Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:** + Working conditions associated with normal office environment. + Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.). + Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings. + Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed. + Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required. + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards. + Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
