Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB’s offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offer. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for the role is: #L-onsiteThis role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholdersYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading the market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in the portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities.•\tOwning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following-up on portfolio performance.•\tLeading the offer lifecycle management process, analyzing current offers, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and making decisions on offer obsolescence and end-of life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met to maximize their profitability.•\tSetting targets, monitoring offering costs and giving inputs to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s or Master's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent area of studies.3+ years of experience in an industrial environment in an engineering, product marketing, sales, or product management role.Knowledge of power distribution products, in particular, medium voltage switchgear and motor control.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.Self-motivated and purposeful with analytical, logical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, combined with an excellent style of collaboration.Assertiveness and ability to work in a virtual team.Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel.Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% including internationally.Advanced English level
