This is a tenured, full-time, 12-month faculty and administrative appointment. Primary duties will include teaching, advising and administrative responsibilities that will vary and be contingent on programmatic needs; evaluating students' progress in course work and clinical experience; demonstrating scholarly productivity through grants and publications in refereed journals; planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the program curriculum; planning new program offerings and course assignments; collaborating with other faculty and/or public partners. Duties also include working with faculty to develop syllabi and content for related courses; serving and participating in college and university committees; developing a master's degree and initiating grant applications relating to Public Health. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold an earned doctorate in the field of public health or in a related field, from an accredited university. The master's degree must be in public health, if the terminal degree or doctorate is not in public health; at least 18 SCH of graduate course work is required. Three (3) years of teaching experience in a public health program in higher education is required. At least one (1) year of administrative experience in higher education is preferred. We strongly encourage candidates who have a strong record of, or potential for, sustained publication in peer-reviewed journals (commensurate with experience at the Associate Professor level); established track record of securing external grant funding; strong desire to work with first-generation students; and have the ability to teach in areas that complement or strengthen our undergraduate programs.
