Leads routine program management functions on assigned multiple projects or sub-projects of moderate complexity. Completes, with limited oversight, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable program.
Duties and Responsibilities\rEvaluates, determines, and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderately complex program or portfolioProvides knowledgeable input to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issuesApplies program management and financial standard to the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elementsProvides assistance in the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation, and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planningMay assists in establishment and oversight of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programsPerforms some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors for a program or portfolioBuilds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units and external customersGuides and mentors lower-level Associate Program ManagersYou Must Have\rBachelors Degree required2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, business, or program managementAbility to travel up to 25% of the time Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job United States CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)We Value\rBachelors degree in Business or EngineeringAbility to integrate concepts and information with program management systems and processesAbility to provide project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutionsWorking knowledge of business concepts principles associated with project cost and forecasting Effective communication, interactive and presentation skillsEstablished knowledge of customers, products, technologies, processes and PMI certification preferredAdditional InformationJOB ID: 2037Remote Eligibility: On-SiteTravel Required: 0-10%Hourly/Salary: SalaryRelocation Available: Yes
