Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• To work in Graphic/Application engineering/development in any of the DCS .• Participate in meetings to focus on assigned projects activities, quality deliverables and resolve problems.• Program, implement, test, and document process control applications.• Startup and Commissioning, Troubleshooting of System and technical support. • Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s, instrument loop sheets, cause and effect diagrams, control narrative to develop Application software.You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

2 to 5 years of ABB DCS, Delta V, Rockwell /Siemens Industrial automation preferable Experience in Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for Chemical and Specialty Chemical segments. Hands-on experience in Application Engineering tool with in any of the DCS. Having 800xA knowledge is an added advantage and Hands-on experience in Graphic engineering/development in any of the DCS. Good Team player and contribute to Project deliverables and Ability to develop equipment specifications for small and medium-sized projects involving HMI’s, DCS System and Hardware. BE/BTech/ Diploma – Engineering in Control and instrumentation or Equivalent.
