Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Project Manager/ Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation Organization. This role is located in San Diego, CA.
The selected candidate will work closely with Lab and Test Operations personnel, various project Program Managers, and Test Leadership in providing status and health of current and future projects. The candidate will be a primary point of contact to communicate status on various lab upgrade projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will act as the sole property focal point for the Triton system Center (TSC) tracking all property arriving and departing the laboratory. The position requires technical knowledge of various systems, design, development, implementation, and testing with a foundation in laboratory integration and test. The selected candidate must act with speed, guide others in producing quality work, be self-motivated, and have the ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, and test experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee incoming and outgoing parts and material movementsTrack movement of property to various sites and within the Triton LabsPerform property audits with various stakeholders including the customer, DCMA, and Northrop Grumman property focal pointsMaintain property tracking tool database with accurate locations of tagged propertyTest proposal efforts to coordinate and consolidate Task Assessments, Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM), etc. in support of future projectsProvide Cost Account Management for Test Statements of Work (SOW). Will be responsible for tracking project status and reporting Earned Value Management data to Test and project Leadership.Provide updates for the program specific Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) regarding status of progress for the Test Statements of Work (SOW)Responsible for reporting and updating project and Test calendars to reflect latest status and forecasts.Responsible for creating, maintaining, and presenting performance program metrics to LeadershipFacilitate working group meetings to track, monitor, and follow up on actions and tasks for multiple projectsAct as the T&E IPT procurement focal pointManage T&E long range asset planProject manager for various capital, program, and NCTA projectsSupport daily standup meetingsIdentify and resolve logistical issues promptly, minimizing impact on project timelines and budgetsWe offer a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 0 years of project management/related industry experienceLevel 2:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
