Associate Project Manager

What you will do

PPSO (Project and Product Strategy Office) is seeking a Project Manager. This will be an exciting time to help manage some of the projects that we have in our current portfolio. Some of the items that PPSO is engaged in right now Include: 


•    Deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and according to plan.
•    Collaborate with various part of the organization in a consistent manner.
•    Eager to learn and work actively with your own development.
•    Seek to understand different perspectives and cultures contributing to the work climate where differences are valued and supported.
•    Make decisions following through on commitments with a clear sense of ownership.
•    Start using a project methodology partially skilled on PM expertise such as scope, scheduling, cost, quality and risk
•    Have some understanding of the business environment applying the right project control model.

As the Project Manager you will be supporting an ongoing major project with input from the Project Directors along with the Lead Project managers already assigned. With this exposure you will learn the inner workings of how small and major projects are managed within the project management team.

You will be responsible for:

 

Project Timeplans Project Assurance Plans PMT management support General project support needs Build leader support activities at pilot facilities Eventually management of smaller less complex projects under the guidance of senior management Who are you?

BS Engineering or equivalent. >5 years of technical work or exposure in relevant areas Has demonstrated successful leadership of technology and people over time Has successfully led at least some small product changes from start to end Proven to be able to summarize complex topics in a sharp ways Produces results from cross functional teams and confronts issues proactively Vehicle product know-how and experience Experience managing requirements, deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs Interfaced with more than one functional areas in different sites, communicated with strategic stakeholders with a good understanding of the business Knowledge of Complete Vehicle Assembly processes Willingness to frequently travel What’s in it for you?
