Associate Project Manager

In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are unique in that we provide in-house cost management and project scheduling along with program and project management, in a fully integrated package. We are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our team onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA. In this role, you will be working on a variety of pharmaceutical projects. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a role with growth potential as we continue to grow our scheduling team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the project management team with various parts of the project such as constructability review, value engineering, pay app reviews, schedule development, FF&E program development and execution. Assist in formulating the design, bid, and project phase of scheduling. Assist in the Addenda and Bid process. Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings. Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager. Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented. Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy. Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager. Perform QA/QC process. Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards. Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team. Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management. Review and maintain As Built drawings.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management
