Associate Project Manager

This position is responsible for leading and executing time sensitive projects for Cancer Research. The candidate will work closely with departmental leadership, talent acquisition, volunteer services, research staff and operations team to activate the development of projects concerning departmental growth and cohesiveness, and execution and support of project deadlines.  Duties include identification of resource requirements, project plans, project schedules and timelines, and working with other departments and services within the health system as necessary to ensure implementation of assigned projects.  This position will work to improve operations and process efficiency within the campus by preparing and completing action plans; implementing various initiatives, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; determining improvements; implementing change; various other projects as assigned under operational needs as they arise.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field or 3+ years operations level related experience Within 2 years of hire: Certified Project Manager (CPM-IAPM) or comparable program as approved by management

Preferred Qualifications:    

Upon hire: Certified Project Manager (CPM-IAPM) 2 years experience in a project management capacity in a healthcare setting.
