What this job involves - The Associate Project Manager (APM) will coordinate and execute projects. He / she will be responsible for managing smaller scale projects with direction from the Sr. PM Lead and will manage project teams to ensure that projects are executed in alignment with goals and deliverables.
Essential Job Functions
Leads projects and project teams as assigned
Responsible for building and leading project teams and building strong sponsor, stakeholder, vendor, customer, and team relationships
Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification
Leads project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals. Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep project sponsor, key stakeholders and project team members informed
Responsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks to include evaluation of progress/quality/costs and developing action plans to address gaps throughout project life cycle
Facilitates project meetings
Implements project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements
Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule
Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure Client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk with management support
Implements standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to apply the following skills:
Interpersonal - effective verbal and written communication skills, resolves conflicts and effectively negotiates issue resolution, establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships, and displays strong facilitation skills
Leadership- advocates and leads change, supports team building, recognizes contributions and celebrates accomplishments
Professional - understands and executes corporate project management processes and industry best practices which include, but are not limited to, building and executing a project plan, monitoring and controlling project work, managing scope, managing resources, ensuring quality control, maintaining effective communication with team and all stakeholders, managing risk, and monitoring and controlling project costs
Intermediate skills with Google Suites.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from a College or University and/or equivalent related experience
Prior project management experience required
Knowledge of commercial real estate industry is helpful

Estimated total compensation for this position:
76,300.00 – 100,360.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
