Job Summary

As a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products in the Investment Banking and Brokerage domain. You will work closely with development teams to design and implement automated testing frameworks using tools like Robot Jenkins SQL Java Python and Jira. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients needs and drive our companys success.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality.Oversee the execution of test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.Provide technical guidance to development teams on best practices for test automation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality assurance processes.Develop and maintain test scripts using Robot Jenkins SQL Java and Python.Ensure that all test activities are documented and comply with industry standards.Monitor and report on test progress including defect metrics and test coverage.Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.Participate in code reviews to ensure that quality standards are met.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.Use Jira to track and manage defects test cases and test execution.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.Contribute to the improvement of our quality assurance processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of test automation tools and frameworks including Robot and Jenkins.Have experience with programming languages such as Java and Python.Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.Show expertise in using Jira for defect tracking and test management.Have a solid background in the Investment Banking and Brokerage domain.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Be detail-oriented and capable of working independently.Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
