About the Brand Marketing Team

The Rejuvenation Brand Marketing team oversees brand marketing, PR and events, social media, and editorial content. Our job is to grow our customer base of consumers, trade & contract members, and influencers, with a consistent best-in-class brand presence across the marketplace. 

 

Overview of the Associate Manager, PR Role

The Associate PR Manager will be responsible for overseeing strategic Influencer relationships, PR programming, and Event marketing for the Rejuvenation brand. Reporting to the Senior Manager of PR, this role will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of public relations strategies and brand marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance brand visibility, foster positive relationships, and ensure consistent brand positioning across all channels.

 This is a hybrid role - 4 days/week onsite in our Portland office required.

Responsibilities

Oversee PR and influencer programs in partnership with PR Senior Manager. Manage influencer relationships by proactively identifying and pitching new partners, focusing on product priorities and key campaign stories. Support budget management, content development, and track program performance and ROI. Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts in the home design, B2B, and lifestyle sectors. Handle PR inquiries, outreach, and content distribution (press releases, media alerts, etc.) to secure quality media coverage in targeted publications.  Lead retail and virtual PR event strategies, including event content creation, calendar management, and logistical coordination with internal teams, vendors, and PR partners.  Monitor and analyze PR, influencer, and event program performance. Track social media channels in with Social Media team and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.  Work closely with Social Media, Copywriting, Site, and Creative teams to ensure alignment between influencer and social media strategies, seasonal initiatives, and brand messaging.  Contribute to Brand Marketing, PR, and Social Media planning. Conduct competitor and market analysis and stay up to date with emerging trends in digital and print media to inform strategic decisions.  Manage the fulfillment process for products and samples supporting Brand Marketing and PR initiatives. Act as the main point of contact between internal teams (Merchandising, Design, Retail, B2B) and distribution centers to ensure timely delivery for brand and partner needs. Maintain a comprehensive program calendar, outlining program efforts and timelines for influencer content, brand partnerships, media outreach, events, and more. Manage PR email inquiries by researching, vetting, replying to, and organizing inbox in partnership with Social Media team. Compile and present information to team in clear, actionable formats (lists or decks).  Oversee vendor set up and invoice processing with Williams-Sonoma, Inc. accounting. Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key departments, including: Merchandising, Product Development, B2B, Distribution Centers, Creative Services, and Store Operations, and others across Williams-Sonoma, Inc.  Provide administrative support, including shipping/receiving packages, handling PR mailers, and other ad hoc tasks as needed. Deepen understanding of home furnishings industry through Rejuvenation’s product assortment and industry insights.

Essential Functions and Experience

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PR, Marketing, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, and/or Retail Industry. Public relations agency experience is preferred but not required. Undergraduate degree preferred. A concentration in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related communications field preferred. Possesses exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and influence all levels of people within and outside of the organization.  Effective time and project management skills, with ability to organize and prioritize efficiently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Highly creative, with strong conceptual and decision-making skills. Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office on a hybrid basis pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Actively informed and aware of current events and popular media outlets. Actively involved in the social media space, with a proven understanding of how to use social media tools to effectively listen, communicate, and build relationships. Direct influencer knowledge and experience preferred. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with external partners. Interest in home furnishings and design a plus. Have the ability work outside of standard business hours as necessary for attending events, etc.

 

Technical Competencies required

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Technical understanding of existing digital platforms, emerging technologies, and integration strategies.

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a Mac or PC. Ability to converse over a telephone. Ability to work in office and perform in corporate environment. Ability to transport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis.
