MAU is hiring an Associate Relations Leader in Newberry, SC. As an Associate Relations Leader, you will engage with and support MAU personnel at the customer site while ensuring key performance indicators are met. Your responsibilities will include managing HR functions such as payroll processing, performance counseling, and attendance tracking.
Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great work environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional supplemental benefit programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA available after 12 months of service Shift Information Monday to Friday | 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM Career Path Site Manager General Manager Shift Supervisor Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED 2–5 years of experience in human resources or employee relations Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Lean Green Belt certification Training in root cause analysis General Requirements Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities Commitment to exceptional customer and client service Technical expertise and proficiency in relevant areas Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Proactive initiative and self-motivation Effective time management and prioritization capabilities Competence in project management and coordination Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills Essential Functions Act as a liaison between associates and department/section leaders to foster clear communication and resolution of concerns Process, verify, and maintain employee documentation, including absences, investigations, performance reports, and termination details Promote a safe work culture through employee engagement, behavior-based safety (BBS) observations, and participation in site safety events Hold personnel accountable for workplace behavior and performance expectations Lead incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation, case management, and communication of corrective actions Enter incident data into ICI and ensure all four key investigative elements are completed Conduct personnel investigations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality Enforce MAU personal conduct policies and ensure compliance Administer employee counseling as needed, following company policy and the open-door approach Adhere to ARL standard work procedures and escalate concerns to the Site Manager when necessary Support the MAU Touch Program by conducting associate check-ins at the required cadence Perform safety audits, including ICI, BBS, and PIT observations, to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures Communicate employee absences to client supervisors in a timely manner Complete accident reports and on-site investigations within 24 hours, providing verbal and written counseling for safety violations Promote accountability for uniform, PPE, and work task process compliance Issue locks, lockers, and uniforms (if applicable) to new employees Notify employees of assignment terminations or completions Monitor timekeeping systems, audit time records, and ensure accuracy Identify opportunities to improve and streamline work processes Review and authorize required paperwork for accuracy and compliance Lead and facilitate daily team meetings to ensure alignment and productivity Work Environment and Physical Demands This position regularly utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, as well as hand and power tools and company vehicles. Work environments may range from temperature-controlled to non-temperature-controlled settings. Physical Requirements
This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day Travel Minimal travel is required, with a preference for candidates who can accommodate overnight trips.
