Job Title: Associate Relations Specialist

Location: Field Position

Job Summary:  The Associate Relations Specialist is responsible for investigating associate relation issues in order to gather information and make recommendations regarding appropriate actions to resolve issues. Promote consistency and fairness in all practices and demonstrate our values to ensure a positive work environment while mitigating risk for the company.

Principal Duties:Properly investigate, capture, document and organize facts and data while maintaining confidentiality and integrity on all associate relation issues such as complaints, managing conflict, sexual harassment, harassment and consultations in a timely manner.Investigate associate relation issues (demotions, terminations, performance management opportunities) as assigned.Provide objective and constructive guidance on interpretation and application of company policies and overall performance management. Provide coaching and counseling on issues surrounding company policy, procedure, federal and state regulations.Facilitate the Conflict Resolution Process. Facilitate interactive process with associates in relation to ADAAA. Consult with Senior ARS for any clarification regarding compliance to all federal, state, and local employment regulations/laws.Assist in absence management process including follow up and consult with managers and the interactive process.Coach, counsel and educate associates on matters related to associate conflict,  harassment, discrimination, disparate treatment or other similar issues to ensure the associate is treated fairly and the company is appropriately protected.Work closely with the Senior Supervisor of Associate Relations for setting strategies, on-going associate relations activities, budgeting process and whenever additional consultation is needed for store operations.Accurately and timely maintain multiple associate relation databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate information regarding all cases.Research, investigate and responds to Ethics Hotline calls.Responsible for additional tasks as assigned by Manager, Associate Relations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred3-5 years experience in Employee Relations3-5 years experience in Management and/or Human Resource discipline experienceBilingual in Spanish preferredStrong computer and Microsoft Office skills and use of other applications necessary for the position
