Associate Relocation Project Manager

What this job involves – 

This job will be heavily focused on Event furniture setup and takedown related tasks .

The position of Assistant Relocation Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of the daily MAC work orders and assisting with the development of scope and schedule for projects, planning and managing moves.

Proactively manages issues and provides a single point of contact for all MAC work orders and assists with move/reconfiguration related activities to be performed in a manner consistent with policies and procedures

What is your day to day?  

Handle administrative responsibilities of the project (meeting minutes, agenda, project reports) as requestedReceive and review requests from the Events Team. Successfully execute furniture setup and takedown of Events using managed vendorsManage action agendas and other associated project documentationAssist with project close out (close-out report, lessons learned, client reports, project survey)Update bio when significant new skills are learned or at the end of a project on which you had a roleEnsure all project documentation is maintained on client or Relocation Management SharePoint siteReceive and process client requestsParticipate in planning meetings hosted by the client, relocation manager, occupancy planning and  other key stakeholders    Initiate meetings to review project schedules with vendors and key stakeholdersAssist with the project plan and budget through collaboration with the relocation manager, facility manager, project manager and construction manager as requiredInteract effectively with client, as appropriate.  Communicate issues and concerns requiring resolutions to JLL project lead

  

Desired experience and technical skills   

Required  

2 years as Facility Coordinator, Relocation Project Management Coordinator, or similar/related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment1 year working with/on an Events TeamStrong Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to utilize the Microsoft Office suite of technologiesDetail orientedAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyExperience in a CAD/CAFM technology with a move management module  and/or client facilities management systemKnowledge of construction or commercial real estate industryFamiliarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning conceptsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clientsOrganizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the businessTalent self-management: Self-identify individual skill development and proactively seek training for improvementAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyFlexibility with work hours and travel as needed

Preferred  

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

88,000.00 – 98,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
