Associate Research & Psychometric Analyst - Intern

**Pearson** is offering an 8-week internship in the summer of 2025 for two doctoral students with outstanding psychometric skills who wish to gain experience in large-scale educational assessment. The internship will include hands-on experience working with operational K–12 assessments. Specific activities may include various aspects of assessment development, item analysis, standard setting, and technical reporting.
**DATES:** The 8-week internship will take place in the June-August timeframe. There is flexibility within the 8-week block, but interns should be prepared to commit to the complete 8-week term in a full-time capacity.
**LOCATION:** Virtual
**INTERNSHIP GOALS:** Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of Pearson research scientists to:
1) Gain applied experience on many of the tasks involved in supporting an operational K–12 assessment contract;
2) Enhance understanding of ways to collaborate and communicate about educational measurement.
**AWARD:** The award includes a $9,000 stipend.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Interns should be currently enrolled in a doctoral program in educational measurement, educational statistics, educational psychology, or a similar program.
+ At least two years of doctoral-level coursework must be completed prior to the summer of 2024.
+ Interns should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Pearson summer interns may not participate in other summer internship or externship programs concurrently.
