ASSOCIATE SALES CONSULTANT This role requires regular physical presence in the following locations; candidates must reside within or in close commutable distance to either: Albuquerque NM - Preferred El Paso TX- Preferred Phoenix AZ ABOUT US: Biodesix is a leading diagnostic solutions company with a focus in lung disease. The Company develops diagnostic tests addressing important clinical questions by combining multi-omics through the power of artificial intelligence. The blood based Nodify Lung® nodule risk assessment testing strategy, consisting of the Nodify XL2® and the Nodify CDT® tests, evaluates the risk of malignancy in pulmonary nodules, enabling physicians to better triage patients to the most appropriate course of action. The blood based IQLung™ strategy for lung cancer patients integrates the GeneStrat® targeted ddPCR™ test, the GeneStrat NGS® test and the VeriStrat® test to support treatment decisions across all stages of lung cancer with results in an average of two to three business days, expediting the time to treatment. OVERVIEW: The Associate Sales Consultant (ASC) role is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional early in their career and is designed for individuals ready to elevate their sales expertise and make a significant impact in the field of lung disease diagnostics.
The ASC will work in close partnership with the Pulmonary Sales Consultant (PSC) to drive adoption of Biodesix products in their assigned territory. This collaborative relationship offers a unique chance to learn from experienced professionals while taking on substantial responsibilities. The role involves both supporting current business and spearheading efforts to gain adoption of Biodesix products in new accounts. The ASC role offers a clear path for career advancement within Biodesix, with the potential to grow into more senior sales positions as you demonstrate success in driving product adoption and revenue growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: Quickly adapting to Biodesix's innovative product line and contribute to the overall growth of Biodesix's market presence in the assigned territory Working alongside the PSC to drive sales for Biodesix products within an assigned geographic territory Developing and implementing strategies to increase utilization of Biodesix products Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders Providing exemplary customer service through timely identification and resolution of customer issues, concerns, and objections Closely track and complete activities promptly through CRM and follow-up with customers as required COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Proven history of winning, teamwork, and customer service. Evidenced by past professional, educational, athletic, or other accomplishments Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards Competency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated grit and perseverance in past experiences Willingness to relocate based on company needs and for promotional opportunities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree Preferably 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within medical or diagnostic territory sales Recent college graduates with strong leadership experience and a passion for sales are encouraged to apply Pharmaceutical sales experience is not preferred for this role TRAVEL PERCENTAGE: Up to 50% travel

SALARY RANGE:
