Associate Sales Development Representative

C.H. Robinson is looking to add an Associate Sales Development Representative to our team. In this role, you will grow C.H. Robinson’s business with the organization’s ideal prospects, primarily shippers based in North America. Your main responsibility will be cultivating qualified leads through research, outreach, and effective engagement. You’ll engage in meaningful discussions with leaders, aiming to establish connections that grant our commercial organization access while gaining valuable insights into their businesses and supply chains. Responsibilities:

Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments to boost business closing rates by providing sales with qualified, ready-to-engage leadsLeverage cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with a high daily volume of potential clientsUse lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and craft accurate and targeted lists of prospectsEngage leaders in targeted prospect accounts and orchestrate discussions around their business needsPartner with marketing to provide fast, consistent follow-up on inbound leadsCollaborate closely with sales to develop and implement prospect communicationsBuild, manage, and nurture a sales pipeline of interested prospectsMaintain and grow relationships with internal teams and subject matter experts to support the sales processOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in cold calling or sales development positionBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityOutstanding organizational, prioritization and time management skillsSales oriented and results driven with strong commitment to customer satisfactionCan do attitude with a positive problem-solving abilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional and positive with excellent active listening skillsStrong critical-thinking skills; ability to assess and evaluate information in real-timeOutstanding organizational, time management and prioritization skillsThrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and last-minute requestsAbility to manage a large volume of inbound leadsKnowledge of any of the following industry sectors:  Retail, Food & Beverage, Automotive, ChemicalsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment
