Job Overview

Advertising Solutions is T-Mobile’s fast-growing advertising technology business. It leverages high-quality mobile data from the T-Mobile network that enables advertisers to build audience segments based on app ownership and usage insights. The T-Ads Sales Planning team works across many facets of our internal organization to craft solution-focused proposals in response to client requests. This position focuses on pricing and planning responsibilities while using a variety of tools and platforms to package unique digital advertising products.

The Associate Sales Planning Manager is responsible for the creation of proposals for smaller clients/projects. This includes thoughtful recommendations based on knowledge of the offering, standard methodologies and alignment with client needs. They are also tasked with supporting the planning team by developing inputs into larger projects, being responsible for the creation and approach to completing the end output.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with sales teams to build recommendations for strategic campaigns to best meet internal and client needs, e.g. proposals, spec docs, audience segmentation, ad hoc projects etc.Provide pricing guidance across product suite in partnership with media operations and other internal teamsSupport projects to develop best practices across team around offerings, outreach, and systemsDevelop knowledge base to answer questions from other internal stakeholders regarding product functionality, pricing, feasibility, processes, and systemsAlso responsible for other duties/projects assigned by leadership as needed

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Advertising (Preferred)

​Work Experience:

Less than 2 years media planning, digital agency, online advertising, or sales operationsLess than 2 years Advertising tech exposure, e.g. DSP/SSP, media pricing, Salesforce, SharePoint and Excel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strategic Minded/Problem Solving: Capable of analyzing results and providing strategic plan to drive project forward (Preferred)Communication skills: Must be an effective written and verbal communicator to work cross functionally with internal and external teams (Preferred)Flexible & Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environement (Required)Detail Oriented "Do-er": Pays attention to small things and can be counted on to deliver (Required)Industry Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of the advertising industry, specifically the digital and programmatic space including digital media meterics and campaign KPIs (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $46,700 - $84,300

Corporate Bonus Target: 5%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
