Associate Sales Planner
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking an Associate Sales Planner to join the Medical Communications Media Strategy team. This position is located in our New York office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.
Job Overview:
The Media Strategy Team is a crucial part of Haymarket medical’s success. You will be working with our experienced sales team to develop proposals and presentations that align with our pharmaceutical clients’ strategic imperative and budget.
You will partner with a Media Strategist who will provide guidance on media plans utilizing Haymarket’s products and their value proposition to their client objectives to maximize revenue. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our wide and industry leading products, alongside talented, award winning medical experts. Responsibilities:
Partner with the sales team to understand client goals and objectives to brainstorm strategic solutions
Manage your time to complete the RFPs within often fast deadlines, these comprise of client supplied excel files and powerpoint slides. Some clients require RFPs to be entered directly into their proposal platforms.
Uncover and address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of Haymarket products
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all advertising products, website inventory, audience specialties and pricing
Apply data/research to support Haymarket’s value proposition in client-facing recommendations
Interact with our medically trained content experts to understand the client objectives and provide customized solutions.
Track RFPs from pitch to sold contract status.
Develop knowledge of internal processes as they relate to AdOps, Marketing and Editorial teams.
Work with our data team to customize targeted audiences tailored for each client’s needs
Collaborate as a team to keep pricing and product descriptions updated.
Skills and Requirements:
1-2 years of industry experience or related work
Strong communication skills and a logical thinker
Superior attention to detail and organization
Advanced Excel and Powerpoint Skills
Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and online media
Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and keep a positive attitude
