Join the dynamic and cross-functional team at Kraft Heinz Research & Development as a R&D Associate Scientist! We are seeking an exceptional individual to support and lead product development projects across our Meals and Kits Platform.

As a R&D Scientist, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, renovation, and maintenance of product lines, enabling growth and ensuring quality objectives and business continuity for Kraft Heinz. Your role will involve prioritizing and driving technical projects with guidance that contribute to the ongoing projects and Innovation Pipeline for the business. From crafting and performing tests to analyzing data, communicating results cross-functionally, and commercializing pipeline opportunities.

Support and lead the commercialization of new and reformulated products and successful transition from development to production Interact with Operations, Business Units, Vendors, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Marketing to drive for results Conduct risk and feasibility assessments on all projects Create and edit formulas, processing procedures and finished product specifications that deliver consistent, high quality products Interface with technical experts and category scientists to understand technologies and applications Execute benchtop, pilot plant and plant trials to support project goals Coordinate with cross-functional teammates to organize product tastings and sensory evaluations Adapt and apply scientific principles to new situations/products, exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving skills Recipe for Success – apply now if this sounds like you! BS/MS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field Educational research & hands-on knowledge of consumer goods, food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations, and processing used in food manufacturing. Understanding of ingredient functionality and interrelationship of ingredients, process, and packaging Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Self-starter with attention to detail and a passion to learn Self-motivated to drive projects forward Willingness to travel 30% pending business needs About Us

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment

We believe our office environment fuels our collaboration, connection & community as an organization and allows our employees to grow toward greatness. We also believe providing a more flexible and agile model is essential in today’s workplace. A majority of our office-based employees will be able to work remotely for up to two days each week. Additionally, employees who are subject to this hybrid model will be eligible to work from anywhere for up to six weeks in a rolling 12-month period (in maximum two-week increments and according to benefits and tax guidelines). Some jobs may be required to be performed fully in office depending on the role’s responsibilities and requirements.
