Job Description

The QC-Analytical Technologies group is seeking an energetic Scientist I with protein chemistry experience. The position will primarily focus on laboratory execution of analytical method validation protocols. The successful candidate will perform biochemistry based techniques such as UPLC/HPLC (SEC, IEX, RP, glycan, affinity, etc.), capillary electrophoresis (icIEF, CE-SDS), gel electrophoresis, UV, western blot (SDS-Page), and spectrophotometry (SoloVPE) for method validation activities.

 

Individuals in this role are expected to

Execute protocols as writtenAssess the data and troubleshoot under supervisionFollow cGMP documentation practices and initiate deviation, lab investigation, method revisions and other related activities within the quality system

Required education and experience include:

BS and 3+ years of experience (GMP and experience with large molecule analysis a plus)2+ years of applicable hands on experience in one of the following fields, HPLC, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, plate based assays.Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work individually or as part of a team, and problem solving capabilities of standard laboratory techniques.Have strong oral communication skills.In addition, the successful candidate must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with defined deliverables and deadlinesQualifications:Seeking a SME in either liquid chromatography (LC) or capillary electrophoresis (CE)Required 2-3 years experience working in a GMP settingMethod validation/qualification experience is a plus
