Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist to join our team in a dynamic and state-of-the-art laboratory environment. This role involves operating materials management systems, preparing samples and standards, maintaining waste disposal records, and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with cGMPs. The successful candidate will analyze experimental outcomes, document laboratory activities, and collaborate with management to ensure safe and compliant practices.
ResponsibilitiesCorrectly analyze and interpret the outcome of experiments.Prepare and assemble documentation such as entries into laboratory notebooks and maintain proper records per relevant SOPs and policies.Become proficient with UPLC, Empower, and various other analytical instruments and software packages.Perform routine analytical tests of excipients, APIs, finished products, compounded sterile preparations, and stability samples.
Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology with a Chemistry Minor0-3 years of experience with UPLC/HPLCExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Additional Skills & QualificationsExposure to Pharmaceutical/FDA environmentsExperience with cGMPProficiency with Empower softwareWork Environment
The work involves testing samples from various industries, with a significant focus on pharmaceutical products and compounded sterile or non-sterile preparations.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00
