Job Description Our large Pharmaceutical client is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the HTP Expression team in their growing Biologics Discovery Group in Spring House, PA. They are looking for a highly motivated Associate Scientist who specializes in CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary) cell line development to join a team committed to the bold objective of changing the future of medicine. Collaborating with their team of dynamic and innovative Scientists, you will be responsible for advancing the most cutting-edge biologics medicines to the clinic. As a member of this team, you will leverage a variety of robotic platforms and protein purification technologies along with the highest quality and rigor to invent and deliver innovative therapeutic candidates. This role will primarily be focused on building a brand new high throughput stable pool platform that will give other downstream Scientists the ability to screen a wider array of molecules and make more informed decisions throughout the Therapeutics Discovery lifecycle. This role will be heavily focused on cell line development and bioproduction in CHO cells (bioprocessing, fermentation). Other responsibilities include: -Perform CHO cell line development cell culture processes including transfection, cloning, characterization, and cell banking -Hands-on lab research for purification and characterization of antibodies or other proteins expressed from a variety of sources. -Design, execute and interpret experiments with manager's approval. -Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks in a timely manner and prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, etc We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
