Associate Scientist - Antibody Validation

The successful candidate will be responsible for RabMAb development by performing experiments of antibody screening, and validation using sELISA, WB, IHC, ICC, FC, IP techniques to ensure high quality RabMabs to be developed for life sciences, across all delivery destinations (Catalogue, partner, custom, and collaborator). The candidate will collaborate with RA Scientist, Antibody Generation Scientist, production team and other related colleagues. Roles & Responsibilities + Validate antibody performance by sELISA, affinity measurement, and other required tests at QC stage for kit pair antibody projects. + Validate antibody performance by WB, IHC, ICC, FC, and IP at QC stage for Reagent projects. + Screen antibody candidates by sELISA, WB, IHC, ICC, FC, and IP at recombination stage according to the project requirement. + Data review of application results and do troubleshooting on issued projects. Template preparation for Eugene review or Cam RabMab review meeting. + Continue to optimize and improve antibody validation process. + Provide scientific support of sELISA, WB, IHC, ICC, FC, and IP applications for customers. + Write and implement standard operating procedures (SOP’s) + Work closely with RA leads, Antibody Generation Scientist, production teams to ensure internal projects and custom projects being validated smoothly. + Maintain high quality standards within the lab; ensuring the lab is compliant with all external and internal quality standards, and compliance with all health and safety guidelines. + Perform additional duties and/or other projects as required or assigned. Qualifications: + Ph.D. in life sciences is required. + Hand on experiences in sELISA, WB, FC, IHC, IF/ICC, etc., and be able to do troubleshooting. + Experience of using automated platforms is highly preferred. + Solid record of accomplishments and publications as evidence of scientific knowledge. + Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. + Project management skills. + Adaptable, motivated, and enthusiastic.
