Associate Scientist I
Job Title: Associate Scientist IJob Description This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. The Associate Scientist I will support reagent manufacturing, conduct investigations on internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to reagents, and assist in developing and improving reagent manufacturing processes and products. Responsibilities + Design experiments and testing schemes + Analyze data + Write protocols and reports + Present results to a cross-functional team + Support reagent manufacturing + Conduct investigations on internal nonconformances and customer complaints + Assist in developing and improving reagent manufacturing processes and products Essential Skills + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills + Team player + Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field + At least one to two years of relevant experience + Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits + Familiarity with process and test method validations + Excellent communication skills + Ability to perform under pressure to meet project deadlines Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits is a plus Work Environment Shift: 8 hrs/day. Times will be variable. 1st Shift = 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 2nd Shift = 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Work on Saturdays is also required, with volunteers needed for 1-2 Saturdays per month, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
