Your tasks 

 

In order to support the rapidly growing reference material business, we have been opening a new life science lab at the Buchs SG site, thereby enabling the expansion of our analytical research and development activities. The flexible state-of-the-art design comprising lab- and office-space creates a collaborative environment and fosters efficient working. 

 

In this position you will develop novel certified reference materials (CRM) as solutions or mixtures for the use in different market segments in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034, depending on the assignment. You are responsible for planning and realizing these products via high-precision weighing and dissolution. This includes data evaluation and exact documentation of experiments. You are organized and have a passion for precise work. You will also write technical articles and publications, and actively participate in improvement processes. The cooperation with other departments (e.g. marketing, quality assurance, production, filling) completes your job profile. 

 

Your qualifications 

 

Bachelor or Master in analytical chemistry or a related discipline 

Expertise in analytical techniques 

Basic knowledge of ISO norms (ISO 17025, ISO 17034) 

Accurate and target-oriented working style 

Team-oriented personality enjoying independent work 

Effective communication skills in German and English
