We are seeking an adventurous individual to join the SL Engineering Team within Global Securities Lending; one of the world’s top Lending Agents.

Responsibilities

Coding: Primary focus on actively coding and designing for our next-generation high-velocity, scalable trading, electronic trading, and analytics platforms.Team collaboration: collaborate with team members across multiple offices globally, including Gurgaon, Budapest, London, New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.Mentoring: Mentor team members to enhance their skills in architecture, standards development, and best practices.Enhancement, debugging, support, maintenance, and testing: Enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support the business.

Skills And Experience

Strong programming skills with 4+ years of experience in JavaExperience on Web service and API protocols (REST)3+ years of experience in programming in Java developmentWorking knowledge of SQLCommitment to write high-quality codeAbility to read, write and communicate in EnglishExperience with Agile development methodologyFamiliar with continuous integration and continuous delivery automation for containerized servicesBachelors or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related disciplineStrong interest in learning finance

Nice to have and opportunities to learn

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure solutionsWorking financial knowledge and/or previous experience in a financial company
