We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workforce Solutions team at Mercer. This role will be based in Adelaide. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least two to three days a week in the office.
Associate/Senior Associate Consultant – Rewards
Primary focus for the role is the delivery and project management of solutions to clients on a range of projects within the Rewards and M&A practice areas.
Core activities include understanding client issues and developing practical Rewards programs/solutions, driving the delivery of client solutions, project managing client facing teams, working with and involving other team members, monitoring progress and peer reviewing outcomes.

Apply your consulting skills and technical expertise, along with relevant methodologies (that you’ll be trained in) and professional judgment to client projects.Demonstrate intellectual leadership and consistently test final deliverables for completeness, relevance, and high impact against client issues and needs.Plan, design, resource and manage client projects and direct staff in executing the plan, and deliver projects on time and within budgetNurture key client relationships, identify opportunities to broaden or deepen these relationships in partnership with senior consultants, anticipating and responding to future client needsSupport Business Development initiatives and proposalsDevelop own and other’s capability through informal and formal learning opportunitiesParticipate in internal projects to improve Mercer, in particular talent, quality, service delivery, internal efficiency/effectiveness and intellectual capitalWhat you need to have:
Relevant undergraduate qualification is essential (e.g., business, human resources, finance)Relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable (e.g., MBA, Master of HR/Employment Relations)Experience in delivering and developing human capital services in corporate and/or consulting contexts across a number of industriesDemonstrated project management experience and the ability to effectively manage peopleSolid client management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships and identify new business opportunitiesStrong teaming capability in order to work collaboratively with colleagues across service areas on business development activities, client relationship management and delivery of integrated solutionsHigh level conceptual skills with the ability to rapidly learn new material and apply learning in a practical context to solve client problemsAble to operate effectively in ambiguous situations with limited supervision, to multitask and to manage the pressure of competing deadlines without becoming unduly stressedDetail orientation and high quality outputsClient centric mindsetUses initiative and drives to outcomesWhy join our team:
