Associate Senior Electrical Engineer - Commercial - GFS

**Description**
As an Associate Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
* Design electrical systems/equipment to provide a useful and safe
environment for the Global Facilities services in accordance with the
clients’ requirements for reliability and uptime
* Advise clients regarding electrical systems/requirements available to meet
their needs and comply with all applicable codes
* Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance
with design documents
* Conduct fault studies, arch flash, harmonic analysis, motor starting and
load flow analysis
* Develop design criteria for protective device coordination, relay selection,
medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage
distribution
* Perform independent design calculations for electrical equipment like
transformers, DG sets, cables (HV &LV), lighting, grounding, AC/DC UPS,
NGR and capacitor sizing
* Develop and/or lead the design of electrical master plans for facilities
encompassing but not limited to the following: reliable power distribution,
motor control centers, energy efficient lighting systems, communications
and telecom routing, instrumentation and controls for HVAC systems, firealarm
interface, building level uninterrupted power systems (UPS)
systems, engine generators
* Review electrical designs and specifications of equipment or systems
being purchased or fabricated
* Provide electrical design direction and resource management on multidiscipline
projects
* Develop concept studies, designs, detail single line diagram (SLD) for
HV/LV systems, layouts for power/grounding/lighting and narratives
* Participate in the Identification, recruiting and management of resources to
meet the needs of the business
* All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
General Requirements
Our ideal Associate Senior Electrical Engineer will have:
* Certifications/Skills:
o Possess knowledge of all applicable standards and codes
o AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and Strong computer skills necessary to
accomplish electrical designs
o Software Skills: SPELL, ETAP/SKM and Dialux/Visual
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum Education:
o Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute
* Minimum Experience:
o 7 years of experience in the design, installation and maintenance
of electrical distribution systems
o Working knowledge of control systems and fundamental
communication interfaces
o Demonstrated abilities as a project discipline lead
o Data center or telecommunication facility experience
o Knowledge of critical facility design and infrastructure
o Sound understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), 70E, 75, 101, 780 and
other applicable sections and standards like IEEE and IEC
