Product data is one of the driving forces of Bazaarvoice and is at a scale that is difficult to comprehend. This engineer will join the team working on our Product Catalog platform which stores and distributes data about more than 2.2 billion client products, with greater than 200 million updates ingested every day.This data is used for experiences such as powering our syndication network, which allows clients to collect and share user generated content like ratings and reviews. Within social commerce the data allows clients to create smarter shopping experiences with social content.Required Skills and Experience:Strong software development knowledge in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Javascript, TypescriptExperience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure.Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or DynamoDBFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Github Actions is a plus.Understanding of Agile software development methodologiesExperience with version control systems (Subversion, Git)Desirable Skills:An interest in event-driven serverless architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridgeFamiliarity with streaming technologies, such as AWS Kinesis or KafkaFamiliarity with search engines like Elasticsearch or OpenSearchFamiliar with Infrastructure as code tools, such as, Terraform, AWS CDK, Cloudformation, etc.#LI-Hybrid #LI-EM1
