Associate Software Engineer

This position is remote. If you are located within 50-miles of one of our corporate offices, you will be required to be in-office 3-days per week.

The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technology solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability in alignment with the companies strategic goals. This team is based remotely in the Austin Texas area. 

 

What you will do:
 

Software development through writing, testing, and maintaining code for applications.

Assess database performance.

Establish best practices and standards for software development.

Produce high quality, maintainable code.

Stay up to date with current UI/UX practices.

Document technical specifications or requirements.

Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation.

Prepare data for analysis.

Provide technical support for software maintenance or use.

Ensure compliance with current and future privacy regulations.

What you will bring:
 

Minimum 4 years of experience in software development or other related roles.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields preferred.

Ongoing education is considered an asset.

Ability and willingness to work predominately from a remote home office.

Please note some infrequent travel may be required for business meetings.
