As an Associate Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for the entire contracting process, from gathering requirements to drafting contracts, facilitating legal and risk reviews, and gaining leadership alignment. You will collect, organize, and analyze data from both internal and external sources to identify major expenditures, key items, savings opportunities, and price variances. You will establish and maintain a detailed database for each commodity category, capturing essential business information such as consumption history, leading suppliers, and market trends. Your research will provide a thorough understanding of market dynamics, supply chain factors, and cost drivers, enabling you to develop accurate supplier cost and pricing models.


Key Responsibilities:

Gathering Requirements: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and document contract requirements. Drafting Contracts: Prepare comprehensive contract drafts that align with organizational standards and objectives. Facilitating Reviews: Coordinate with legal and risk management teams to ensure thorough review and compliance. Leadership Alignment: Work closely with leadership to ensure contract terms meet business goals and receive necessary approvals. Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify major expenditures, key items, savings opportunities, and price variances. Database Management: Establish and maintain a detailed database for each commodity category, capturing essential business information. Supplier Cost Models: Develop accurate supplier cost and pricing models based on market research and data analysis. Compliance and Validation: Ensure compliance levels and validate savings estimates throughout the contracting process. Reporting: Assist Management in compiling comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports, identifying and explaining variances between budgeted and actual expenditures. Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and compliance to contractual objectives. Project Reporting: Develop and present project reports to Management, clearly communicating commodity risks, opportunities, category objectives, and procurement strategies.


What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of experience in Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain position reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. What Will Set You Apart

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science plus 2 years of experience in Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain related position reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Skilled at effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Computer skill requirements include basic MS Word, Access, and PowerPoint; intermediate MS Excel. Skilled at working with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Skilled at applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Skilled at solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Skilled at applying established procedures to situations that are non-routine in nature requiring some evaluation, originality, or ingenuity.

Compensation:

 

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $26.63 - $39.90 / hour Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
