Associate Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, CA.  This is a full-time position that will work 8-hour Evening shifts.

Under general supervision processes surgical instrumentation and supplies throughout the sterilization process using the appropriate personal protective equipment according to procedure.  Maintains instruments in a clean, working condition, and stores according to instrument directory.

Required qualifications:

Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution 

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Completion of Central Service Certification course.    Or Sterile processing, instrument room, or central supply experience. Coursework/Training and High-Level Disinfection: Training in decontamination, processing, sterilization, quality control Flexible scope reprocessing.     Upon hire: Central Service Certification
