Associate Substrate Lamination

Job Summary: 

 

Perform a wide variety of electronic or mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation, substrate lamination, hand cutting and cleaning on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Perform the various tasks necessary to assemble electronic assemblies for production. Perform assembly and installation steps for the components required in production assemblies. This includes the documentation necessary to track the traveler and the assembler's performance.

 

Job Responsibility:

Mechanically assemble sub-systems integrating electronic components from work Instructions and assembly drawings. Assemble sub-systems using epoxy. Work under microscope for full work day. Manipulation of items using a variety of tools while using a microscope. Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately. Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery and computers. Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards. Self-monitoring of workmanship. Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO Practices and Procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualification:

Follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Mechanical Assembly skills, including the ability to recognize non-conformities. Problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines. ESD knowledgeable. Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Requirements:

2 Years of work experience or equivalent Technical Degree
