Job Summary
As a Thermal Systems Modeling & Simulation Associate Tech Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing HVAC systems ranging from Commercial, Residential and Mobile ( Trucks & Trailers). Your expertise in leading modeling, simulation, and analysis will contribute to the development of efficient and reliable Climate solutions.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Lead the development of Physics based 1D System Models for assessment of components and Systems for HVAC applications.Analyze system & Component behavior, develop Controls Systems strategies, Assess performance, and efficiency through simulations.Conduct sensitivity analyses, assess design feasibility and perform tradeoff studies using the system models. Possess strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with team members. Stay updated on advancements in thermal Systems modeling, simulation, and optimizationCapable of working independently in one large project or couple of small projects with no supervision. Competent to lead and execute projects by working with global cross functional teams to meet project objectives & deliverables. Has the ability to coach/mentor Senior Engineers, Engineers, GETs/PGETsDemonstrates strong technical capability with very good understanding of Product Development Process.Contributes for concept reviews, critical Design Reviews, other technical discussions with customers/stake holders as requiredAble to solve complex technical problem and arrive at containment solutions & recommendationsContribute to knowledge management sessions

Qualifications
Holding a Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Thermal Engineering, with hands-on experience specifically in the field of Thermal / HVAC engineering Climate products.Possessing 6-9 years of relevant experience in Thermal 1D Simulations in HVAC, Automotive, Aerospace or other relevant industries.Solid understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailUnderstanding of Modelica based modelling
