We boldly challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world **Job Summary** To work as a liaison between Compressor development team and internal customers. He/she should understand the customer requirements and help them in providing suitable compressors from development team and helping customers whenever they encounter issues in field. **Job Responsibilities:** + Role requires good understanding on both Mechanical and Thermal Engineering. + The role requires good understanding on Compressors like scroll, screw and Centrifugal and their components. + Should be good in compressor products design, development and should have good idea on its applications. + Should have good awareness about the standards and certifications for qualifications. + Capable to develop clear understanding on different compressors, application, advantages and disadvantages with competitor compressors. + Clearly guide/help the customers to select compressors based on their requirements. + Understands & captures the requirement of the product and work closely with global SMEs to deliver the projects adhering to Trane’s Product Development Process + Carry out Project activities under minimal supervision of a Team Lead/Manager. **Qualifications:** + BE degree/ Master in mechanical / Automobile engineering with strong academics. + 5-10 Years of Compressor or rotating equipment Industry Experience **Key Competencies:** + Demonstrates ability to understand the Customer voice and convert it into actionable tasks. + Hands on experience in System level modeling to assess the performance and characteristics of the unit. + Exposure to system level testing. + Knowledge of compressors used for refrigerant applications. + Basic knowledge of refrigerants used in HVAC applications. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to communicate ideas and results in a clear and concise manner. + Detailed understanding of HVAC system functions including refrigeration, heat transfer, airflow, and ventilation. + Experience with application of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, compressors, motors, and fans. + Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills. + Ability to make progress by completing tasks and deliverables in a multi-tasking environment (several concurrent assignments) on time. + Work effectively in a collaborative team environment. + Ability to quickly and efficiently understand and organize information necessary to make engineering decisions. + Ability to follow internal engineering design processes and best practices. **Why you should join us:** We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
