THE ROLE: Associate Technical Sales Specialist
Job Summary:
Presidio is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic individual to join our Managed Services Pre-Sales Team. As an Associate Technical Sales Specialist, you will work alongside a team of 2-4 technical professionals and Level 2 Architects, providing essential technical PreSales support to our Managed Services Sales and Presales Teams.
Travel Requirements:
In this role you will be expected to travel up to 10%. It will be based in any location in the United States with preference for candidates that live in the Eastern, Central or Mountain Time Zones.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the MS technical training enablement program to build your expertise. Create solution diagrams, gather and review requirements data from customers, and assist with other PreSales activities to support engineering initiatives. Research technical issues, respond to customer inquiries regarding Presidio’s products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our MS Portfolio. Provide configuration support for products and offerings, including quoting and documentation. Follow standard processes and manage workflow related to the creation of pre-sales deliverables. Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for Presidio’s customers. Work in a focused and directed manner to enhance productivity and efficiency across Presidio’s Managed Services PreSales team. Participate in customer and sales team meetings to collect technical requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions. Perform selling functions, including customer interaction and demonstrating our tools. Collaborate on the creation of technical configurations, statements of work, quotes, proposals, and other PreSales deliverables.Required Skills:
Proficiency in typical office applications and general computer use. Strong written skills, critical attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic are essential.Additional Desired Skills:
Participation in or graduation from an industry or manufacturer training program for IT professionals Experience in an IT-related field such as a manufacturer, Value-Added Reseller (VAR), or IT Solution ProviderEducation and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience/military experience Overall1-3 years relevant work experience*****
