Associate Territory Manager

Job Details:

The Associate Territory Manager works collaboratively with Sales Directors and Account Managers to build revenue and gross profit growth in designated territories. The Associate Territory Manager will have excellent business development skills to expand services in support of the assigned market, client loyalty, growth of product utilization and sales.  Duties include the development and implementation of an annual territory strategic plan, quarterly activity-based sales objectives, and monthly achievement of net revenue goals.

Responsibilities

Acts as key point of contact for assigned territories to provide seamless patient referral and onboarding process.

On occasion will ride with sales directors to meet and educate referrals sources, and to develop field sales skills.

Makes quality sales calls with key decision-makers in own territory once training is complete.

Qualify revenue potential and payor mix in new and existing accounts.

Complete all sales reports and other processes on a timely basis and submit to leadership.

Works collaboratively with all members of business development team, inclusion outside sales, inside sales, marketing, and managed care.

Maximize utilization of executed contracts by calling on case management, utilization review, managed care organization executives, provider networks (hospitals, physicians).

Identify new program and new business opportunities for the company.

Participate in sales training programs

Assess and report competitive sales activities; assist in developing and implementing competitive sales strategies.

Give high priority to client satisfaction and customer needs.

Anticipate client needs and coordinate internal resources to meet client needs, expectations and deadlines.

Maintain confidentiality of information.

Take initiative to present ideas/suggestions to management utilizing proactive problem-solving approach.

Proactively assess and periodically review client concerns and establish strategies for improving operations amongst service lines, escalating as required.

Utilize CRM to develop and implement an organized account profile on all key accounts.

Performs in accordance with company-wide competencies/behaviors.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to solve problems

Ability to successfully perform in a sales environment at an executive or C-level.

Experience conducting presentations to groups

Detail oriented and able to prioritize workload

Strong computer skills including using Word processors, spreadsheets, and database software

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent health care experience preferred.

3 years home infusion experience in intake or sales with a proven track record preferred. 

Experience with customer service and new business development required. 

Ability to effectively sell a service.
