The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Job SummaryInvolved with the design and development of test programs to measure functionality and integrity of products and services. Writes test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications. Debugs test hardware and software.
Job Responsibilities Supports and participates in technical activity Designs, develops, analyzes, documents, and supports testing of products, systems, or subsystems May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments Ability to work independently under supervision of others Provides regular reporting of progress and status Responsible for completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements Reviews customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable Specifies and evaluates supplier components, subsystems, and services Supports the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements Develops prototypes to retire key development risks as directed Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required May participate in preparation of less complex proposals Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends mission, values, and culture of the organizationQualifications High School Diploma Current student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering willing to work a total of three full time semesters: alternating with full time school semesters Minimum 3.0 GPA
