Element Lafayette has an opportunity for an Associate Test Technician (Part Time, Permanent) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
This position will require working every third weekend and every third holiday. It will require occasional lifting of 40+ pounds. The typically hours are 7AM-4PM, and this person will work approximately 28 hours per week.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
