**Job Title:** Associate Tool & Gage Technician **Location:** Phoenix, AZ 85034 **Schedule:** Monday – Friday | First Shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional Saturday OT) **Job Type:** Full-time | Consultant (6-month contract) **Pay Rate:** $21.30 per hour **Job Summary** This is an entry-level position with direct training to set and adjust gages to the required standards for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test departments. The role involves maintaining gage calibration records, handling inventory, and supporting tooling needs within the department. **Key Responsibilities** + Set and adjust gages using gage blocks, horizontal trimos, and other gage setting devices. + Maintain electronic inventory and gage calibration records using SAP or other systems. + Receive, store, issue, and deliver perishable tooling, fixtures, gages, shop supplies, and safety items (PPE). + Work within a team environment, interacting with internal and external associates to maintain high customer satisfaction. + Solve moderate scope problems and escalate complex issues to the Supervisor or Manager. + Support manufacturing operations by ensuring all gages and tools are properly maintained and available when needed. **Qualifications & Skills** + **Education:** High School Diploma (Required) + **Experience:** Entry-level (training provided) + Basic knowledge of gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, fixtures, and abrasive products is a plus. + Familiarity with database systems and computer skills is preferred (training available). + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds. + Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided). **Pay Details:** $21.30 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
