The Burns & Wilcox Environmental Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an Associate Underwriter, eager to expand their knowledge in the insurance industry. The Environmental COE has specialized knowledge of environmental exposures and their potential impact on our clients’ business. Responsibilities:
Build agent relationships, find sources of business, and be creative in placing risks and product opportunitiesSeek opportunities to access new insurance markets and productsPlay a producer role in the dynamic growth of a highly successful and consistently profitable companyUse cutting-edge technology to deliver high quality service to agents and agenciesPartner with a service-oriented corporate headquarters staffDefine and monitor successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior managementBe technologically savvy and data driven and develop those capabilities in the branch office teamSupervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract termsManage relationships with retail agents and branch underwriter/broker producersDrive consistency and quality in operational processesFind and cultivate brokerage marketsFind and build agent relationships to promote business growthBe creative in developing solutions for individual risk placement as well as program business development Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industryInsurance license preferredCompensation Package:
