Burnside Veterinary Hospital, located in Dartmouth, NS, is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian for a one-year maternity leave coverage. With 6 exam rooms (3 dog, 2 cat, and 1 multipurpose comfort area) and a team of 6 veterinarians and 17 dedicated support staff, we offer a spacious, modern facility equipped with advanced technology, including:

Digital full-body and dental x-rays Class IV laser therapy Idexx in-house laboratory suite Zoetis Imagyst analyzer Ultrasound machine

We provide a wide range of services, including:

Chemotherapy Ovary-sparing spays and castrations Laser therapy PennHIP evaluations (Coming soon) Rehabilitation services

The Role

This part-time role is ideal for a veterinarian seeking work-life balance in a supportive setting.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-8 PM, Wednesdays 8 AM-4 PM. If working Saturday, the Friday evening shift replaces one of the other evening shifts. No On-Call Duties: Focus on providing exceptional care without the demands of after-hours emergencies Duration: One-year maternity leave coverage Compensation: Includes a $200 uniform allowance
