VCA Valley Oak Veterinary Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice in Chico, California.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.
Our 14,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility provides advanced care including CT, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and arthroscopy. Our team of over 17 doctors, including a board certified Internist and surgeon and an 80-person staff provide some of the best patient care and client service in all of Northern California. We were recently awarded the CVMA (California Veterinary Medical Associated) Meritorious service award for our work in treating over 500 burned animals in the CAMP fire in Paradise, California. We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and showed how well our staff worked together during this very difficult and stressful time.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
