Summary of Position
This is a professional position with overall responsibility for the management of all Central Campus facilities and construction projects.
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education , preferably in an Engineering, Architectural or Business-related field is required.
Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
Minimum Required Experience
Five or more years’ facilities and construction related management experience, preferably in a college or university setting with a bachelor’s degree.
Two or more years’ facilities and construction management experience within a college or university with a master’s degree.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Ability to coordinate the activities of Facilities Management, facilities design and construction, and renovation and maintenance of existing facilities as well as direct the operations and supervise all aspects of Facilities and Construction including: Building Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Custodial Services, Grounds and Streets, Police Services, and Utility Services.
+ Ability to coordinate and communicate with college personnel at all levels and across the organization, demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, and foster effective teamwork, communication and collaboration within Facilities and Construction.
Salary 1C/Per Salaried pay scale
Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - M-Thur 7:30-5:30, Fr 7:30-11:30
