Job Description Purpose & Scope: Develops Patient Care Services goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies, procedures; organizes the Division in accordance with policies and procedures; organizes the Division in accordance with administrative guidelines in order to provide specified nursing services to meet the legal, organizational and medical staff guidelines; functions in an advisory capacity to administration in evaluating proposed procedural changes as they relate to patient care; directs / supervises the implementation and ensures compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice that promotes optimum health care delivery. Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Master's degree is preferred. Experience: Five years of nursing leadership is required. Certification/Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing is required.
