The Associate Vice President plays a critical role in maintaining the overall management of the Philanthropy Department. This position requires a managing generalist who understands how to effectively communicate and foster relationships with prospects and donors. A caregiver in this position is remote in the Florida Cleveland Clinic Market (Weston, West Palm Beach, Stuart, or Vero Beach) from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Lead and facilitate funding source identification, proposal preparation and pre- and post-award negotiations between CCF professionals, individuals and organizations providing funding. Direct and mentor employees in achieving productivity goals and increasing technical abilities/skill levels in critical aspects of funds acquisition. Manage consultants. Develop vision and implementation strategies for the generation of funding. Represent the department in interactions with the Board of Trustees, senior CCF management and external professional/community audiences.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree Ten years of progressively more responsible management experience in the acquisition of funding from individual, government, foundation and corporate sourcesPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
