Four Hands is hiring an associate visual merchandiser who will be responsible for styling and assistant-styling product in Four Hands showrooms, facilities, and events. As a part of the Creative Services team within Sales and Marketing, you'll position Four Hands pieces in beautiful, inspiring environments with a focus on highlighting features and benefits, and providing scale and context for our customers (and theirs). 

In This Role\nWork under the guidance of visual merchandisers and project/production managers to assist in the styling and arrangement of products in industry trade showrooms \nParticipate in 10-day market set-ups, ensuring all elements are prepared and styled to meet high standards \nTravel at least 8 times a year for planning pre-trips and 10-day market set-ups \nOrganize, clean, and maintain props and showroom spaces to ensure they are presentable and functional \nManage relationship with plant vendors to ensure delivery, and pick up \nRun errands outside the showrooms including buying food props, sourcing design materials, and styling tools \nPrepare soft goods (e.g., textiles, linens) for display using steamers or irons to ensure they are wrinkle-free and presentable \nCollaborate with the production team to select appropriate furniture and accessories that complement the overall styling \nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team \nOther tasks as defined by manager\n


The Ideal Person\n1+ year of experience in retail preferred but not required \nBachelor's degree in fine art, interior design, or equivalent creative experience \nProficiency in basic computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Figma) \nStrong understanding of artistic composition, including visual balance and contrast \nAbility to source and curate design inspiration aligning with art direction. \nBasic knowledge of interior and set design principles \nCapability to plan and execute creative concepts per direction \nPhysical ability to work on foot for up to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, in a dynamic studio environment \nValid driver's license with a reliable vehicle\n
