The Associate VP, Americas Logistics is part of Agilent Technologies’ OFS Global Logistics Leadership Team, reporting to the VP of Global Logistics.
This is a key leadership role in leading a customer-centric, highly optimized and innovative Logistics organization for Agilent’s Americas Supply Chain operations.
This is a significant leadership opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated leader with demonstrated experience who can lead, inspire, and drive digital transformation with a diverse team within the region with a world-class, sustainable operation moving product around the world and fulfilling customer orders in Americas. This individual will be expected to lead critical, on-going logistics initiatives supporting Agilent’s digitalization and growth strategy.
This position has responsibility for managing a team of ~200+ logistics professionals in Americas with a business critical supply chain operation that meets or exceeds expectations in terms of delivery, quality, cost performance and customer experience.
The preferred location is Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities & Areas of Focus:
Lead the Americas Logistics to meet the high standards of customers’ expectation, operational metrics and financial goals
Owner for the strategy and execution for logistics operations in Americas, moving product from warehouse to customers in Americas
Formulate and Implement logistics strategies to support the business growth while improving supply chain service, resilience and reliability
Implement strategy in alignment with shifts in divisional sourcing and customer mix
Develop and implement best practices to drive efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service
Strong ability to adeptly manage complexity in a rapidly changing operating environment with agility
Work cross-functionally to monitor and adjust capacity as needed
Manage logistics service providers (LSP) and ensure ongoing carrier and warehouse compliance to committed KPIs, operating standards and service level agreements
Collaborate with EMEA-I and Asia Pacific Logistics organization to implement seamless, best in class supply chain processes including cross-border logistics and warehouse operations
Support and implement digital transformation across the supply chain logistics organization by identifying, assessing and implementing innovative, best-in-class technologies
Collaborate with regional business partners to implement appropriate strategies to achieve delivery, quality and cost KPIs including Customer Required Delivery (CRDD) performance, Defect on Arrival goals (DEFOA), logistics cost as percentage over revenue improvement

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics, or Life Sciences discipline. An advanced degree is highly desirable
7+ years of demonstrated experience leading multicultural and diverse teams, collaborating across multiple departments and functions
15+ years in operations leadership with increasing responsibility and experience in leading Supply Chain in a regulated Medical Device environment
Experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, and warehousing in a multi-national company
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to use data to drive business decisions
Proactive identification, analysis, and resolution of complex problems
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Experience with digital technologies (e.g., automated manufacturing, robotics, AI/ML) is preferred
Proficiency in driving process improvement using Lean and 6-Sigma concepts
Familiarity with one or more of Agilent's target markets a strong plus
Ability to travel, up to 25% time, both domestic and internationally

The US pay range for this full-time position is $171,600.00 - $316,388.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
